Please be advised on Saturday 3rd December, Scomis will be performing Essential Firewall Maintenance which will affect all services provided from our data centre for a period of up to 4 hours. Maintenance will start from 8am.
The essential work is part of our ongoing security and hardware refresh programme that involves replacement of our existing firewall technology. This work had previously been scheduled earlier in the year but due to initial problems the work was cancelled and the change reversed. We are intending to complete the work outside of core operating hours to minimise disruption to schools.

We anticipate that the work will take a few minutes to perform, with up to 20 minutes for testing. However please be prepared for a much longer downtime window to allow for any faults to be resolved.
