As per the National Cyber Security Centre’s latest threat warning; universities, colleges and schools are under increasing threat of cyber attack – including unprecedented levels of ransomware attacks. The NCSC is now offering UK education settings free cyber defence tools to help keep out attackers. Schools are now able to sign up for the NCSC’s Web Check and Mail Check services to protect their websites and email servers from cyber attacks.
From April 2022 the DfE has introduced cyber cover into the risk protection arrangement (RPA) product, an alternative to commercial insurance, which may save schools time and money. Our encrypted and secure automated backup solutions allow schools to protect their critical cloud data as well as their on-premise data. Crucial as both Microsoft and Google learning platforms do not come with their own backup solution by default.
