Preparing for the New Academic Year in SIMS for Secondary Schools – End of Year Procedures-Tutor Led Training
This course is suitable for Administrators and Data Managers in Secondary and Secondary Special School settings who are new or in need of support to prepare SIMS for the end of year procedures. A PC with a camera and a headset with a microphone are required for all our training courses.

- create a new academic year
- make pastoral structure adjustments
- perform the pastoral promotion
- run new intake routines including admissions transfer file (ATF) and common transfer file (CTF)
- process leavers
- create academic structures in the new academic year
- allocate students to bands and classes
- print timetables and registers from SIMS
- carry out general housekeeping
