Microsoft Excel - Logical and Look-up Functions (C)

Using Excel spreadsheets is an integral part of many roles. We have developed a series of half day remote tutor led training opportunities covering key aspects of Excel to enable you to’ pick and mix’ according to your requirements. As part of our suite of Excel courses, this will help you with logical and look-up functions. If you have no experience of creating formulas please attend the Formulas and Functions (A) course first.

We have developed a series of half day remote tutor led training opportunities covering key aspects of Excel to enable you to’ pick and mix’ according to your requirements. As part of our suite of Excel courses, this will help you with more formulas and functions. If you have no experience of creating formulas please attend the Formulas and Functions (A) course first.

Using Excel spreadsheets is an integral part of many roles. We have developed a series of half day remote tutor led training opportunities covering key aspects of Excel to enable you to’ pick and mix’ according to your requirements. As part of our suite of Excel courses, this will help you with pivot tables. If you have no experience of creating formulas it is recommended that you attend the Formulas and Functions course first.

NOVA T6 for New Users

This four day course provides a step by step explanation of how to use Nova-T in the production of the school timetable, from populating the system with core data (rooms, staff, subjects) to submitting the completed timetable to SIMS.

Options Online

This course helps the Options Administrator to create an Options plan, offer course selections to students online and create a solution that helps to satisfy the students' choices. It is a linear process that starts with defining the plan and ends with transferring the plan to SIMS.

Post 16 Learning aims census – half-day workshop

This two and half hour workshop will not be a formal training course but will be an opportunity for data managers with responsibility for producing the post 16 elements of the autumn census to review the main step needed to prepare and produce the requirements of the census.

Producing the School Census - Primary

The School Census Return is required to be completed by maintained Nursery schools, Primary schools, Secondary schools, All Through schools, Special schools, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), and Academies in England.

The School Census Return is required to be completed by maintained Nursery schools, Primary schools, Secondary schools, All Through schools, Special schools, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), and Academies in England.

Producing the School Workforce Census

The School Workforce Census Return is required to be run by English schools in the maintained sector. These include Community, Foundation, Voluntary Aided and Voluntary Controlled schools, Academies, Free Schools and Pupil Referral Units.

Reporting from Personnel

The course covers producing reports based on staff data in SIMS Personnel. It includes running and previewing existing reports and designing and editing reports, including word lists, mail merge letters and labels, rich text format (RTF) and Analysis Reports.
